-Cracking Boredom by Super-scaled Objet as the Progammatic Center-

This resort design has the potential to maximize the view as it is located on a hilltop site adjacent to the sea. In particular, focusing on the south and southeast-facing views, based on the double road planar typology considering efficiency, the basic volume of a rectangle facing the south was set, and the possibility of manipulating the basic volume was opened by separating the front and rear volumes bordered by the corridor. The height of the front volume for the south-facing view was lowered and the Half of rear volume was configured to be bent to face the southeast.
In addition, in order to make the resort typology, which is inevitably boring due to the repeated lodging unit composition, a completely heterogeneous red colored event volume was inserted into the center of the building volume to serve as an architectural Objet as well as the center of the program. In addition, by introducing a sculptural elevation pattern, it is suggested that the repeated elevation pattern be more interesting.
